Viewer automatic for Ascii e Ansi for extension file
It is possibile to set the interior viewer to automatic show the files .nfo in Ansi mode and the files .txt in Ansi mode without to switch?

As workaround: Type 'A' for Ansi or 'S' for Ascii to switch the view. Just the Keys work in Lister as shortcut.Hurdet wrote:It is not working for me.
In autodetect TC show .nfo in Ansi mode.

Hi again!
• From the Help / Tutorial :
* I just tested two *.nfo files:
- both are displayed as ANSI in Lister.
¤ One doesn't show errors, it's quite readable.
¤ The other shows errors.
* I edited them in TxtEdit (Delphi7™ program), they are not recognized as ASCII... Some DOS fonts can't be identified by Delphi, it seems.
• Hence, the Sheepdog's tip is the one good solution currently.

* Like quoted above, TC TRIES to distinguish… Some DOS fonts are not saw as ASCII.When Autodetect is selected, Lister tries to distinguish between ANSI and ASCII text.

Option & Workaround ...

Hi again !
* Currently, as far as I know, there is none instruction / setting to do this...
* However, you could try to install an external viewer having ASCII as default, then associate *.nfo with it, and launch the file via ALT+F3, or drag it on a button set for that external viewer (not sure that works…)

• That sounds like a good idea, I support it. But we'll have to hear the Author's opinion about that possibility...It is possible to add a function in order to associate the files extensions to the visualization Ansi or Ascii?
