How to show connected devices such a smartphone or Kindle?

Post by *patetcmi »

Is TC able to show connected devices such a smartphone or Kindle for the purpose of moving or copying files? I can't find an option for this. Windows Explorer shows when a device is connected but not TC.

I love this program though and have used it for many years! When I get a new computer it is the first program I install!

Thanks.

Android: WiFi/WLAN Plugin for Totalcmd (Google Playstore or FDROID) creates a local Web+WebDAV server for access by PC
PC: WebDAV plugin

- unlock the phone. This is a security measure so hackers can't steal your data from a locked phone, and
- open the notifications and check whether one shows "USB connected for charging". If it does, you need to tap on the notification and switch it to MTP (media transfer mode).
