There is a free space in Configuratin>Language dialog box, why not using this free space to add a new option to edit the main menu file using Hacker program TCME or mine UTCMME the oldest comes first
something like Irfanview/Xnview in Configure internal viewer...

Although I like you both guys my suggestion would be of a non-name-specific add-on option in the configurations.

One reason is that in the future there can be new implementations from other users. Ts4242's suggestion will still be functional since the screenshot shows that the path of the tool is configurable also. But in this case the tick box text won't apply. Maybe that's too much on the perfectionist side but hey... this is who I am! In addition it can be a bit confusing for new or inexperienced users.

So, IMHO the tick box text should read something like: "Use external, menu-specific, add-on application to edit menus".

I don't think so, what a new editor can did more than Hacker and I did. Even if this happened specify our add-on name will be as a gift to us as we are the pioneer.

also there are picture viewer plug-in other than Irfanview/Xnview Mr.Ghisler mention to both plug-in only why not this happen in our case too.
