Do you have shortcut to your network Neighborhood on your desktop? Is there any chance that your admin has restricted your access by system policies?
After all, computers crash, people die, relationships fall apart. The best we can do is breath and reboot.

Well, the shortcut is missing from my desktop either, but at the moment i have administrator policies.

But you can access the network via Explorer?
