Wrong Lister position in Windows 7 with vertical taskbar
Run Windows 7, make taskbar vertical on the left screen side, do it wider (at least 3 icons in notification area wide), than make sure the taskbar is locked and with no autohide. Run TC with a fresh ini, confirm all config settings and browse any file in lister with F3. You should see that Lister is shifted beyond the right screen side - you should see only "Minimize" button on Lister title bar, maximize and close buttons are outside of the screen.
If I remember correctly, there are some problems with calculations for taskbar, so it's more like reminder, I'm afraid.

Please move Lister where you want it and use "Save position".

I do it every day when testing TC with fresh ini. It's annoying.

Why don't you use 75% size of desktop for window? You can find such sizes in old MS Office for default window position after fresh install. On 1024x768 it shows 768x576 window for Excel/Word. On 1920x1080 it shows 1440x810. That is enough comfortable to use.

It's not about size only, it's more about wrong position - Lister is moved to the right screen side. I would prefer Lister centered by default.

Sorry, I will not change this at this time. I will add it to my to do list for a later version.

OK. TC goes the same way with Lister in Windows 7 and Windows 10, so it's probably present for all systems Vista+

This should be fixed in TC 10.51 RC1, please check it. It only happens as long as you haven't saved the position of the Lister.
