Based on the discussion here viewtopic.php?t=79762 I suggest that the current string 6262, used in the context menu of the "Synchronize directories" dialog:
And what is the special difference? I understand the translation unambiguously, but I do not see its deeper meaning.
The problem with that topic is not that this command is unclear (in any of the available translations), but that the
behavior of calling a command through the context menu and the hotkey is different.
And that’s not supposed to happen here!

you wanted to say "from SINGLE selected"?
Because if not, then the behavior on a line representing a directory with its children - for some reason is performed by your code completely differently for the two styles of calling it. Directly via the hotkey and context menu. And please - do not explain that the right click is also responsible for ensuring that all sub-elements are selected. This is just a programmatic explanation of the essence of what is happening, but not an explanation of the incorrectness of the UI/UX results for two options for calling the same command for the same element.
With the mouse and the context menu, everything is quite adequate and works as expected.
But when working only with the keyboard - there misunderstandings are having arising.
And if we here now add this proposal to change the command name...
It turns out to be a complete nonsense.
I think that describes it well (at least better than other variants) and suggest that it stays. For me it means: "Remove the current decision about the copying direction."
yep, looks promising. Would like to support it.
Although everything is clear and understandable in translation, there is still a difficulty in laying down these actions in my mind and possible consequences in the form of "broken" habits of taking steps/actions in the usual/current way.
But still, this should equalize the two ways of invoking the "Remove selection" command much better. I would like to test a temporary build of Total with similar functionality.
I have problems there, because a direction cannot be removed or deleted. You can only delete the decision about it. So for me "clear selection" which means for me "the selected direction" is still the best choice (under many unprecise texts)
It's also for clearing the checkbox if the checkbox contains a red cross indicating it is marked for deletion. And if files are unequal the checkbox is not cleared, but reset to the unequal sign. So perhaps "Clear Copy/Deletion mark" is a good alternative.

Yes, the word 'mark' is the keyword. I prefer 'Remove ...'
