Maybe it is just my avi and mkv samples, could you try if your Imagine tries to open these two files:

Confirmed, both files work normally here too with the HEIF plugin v0.0.1. As stated above by nyam, all issues are fixed with the new HEIF plugin v0.0.2.

I can confirm that with HEIF plugin v. 0.0.2 it is no longer necessary to exclude .mp4, .mov, .m4v, and .m4a files in TC's detect string for Imagine

Btw could you also bring some light on the problems with ICC profiles inside the images?

if a certain ICC-profile is embedded in the body of the photo, then Imagine needs to display colors and saturation when viewing this photo, taking into account the data from this profile! Otherwise, it may turn out to be nonsense pic.
And there are three pictures on the site showing it clearly. {see the link below}
A normal photo is how we should see a person, an abnormal photo is THAT how viewer programs show this photo WITHOUT support of the ICC-profile in parsing code. And the third photo - actually a photo with an embedded ICC-profile record - for testing the capabilities of viewer programs.

For example, in any modern browser, the first and the second photos should look exactly the same, because in browser's code, this support have been implemented a long time ago in order to follow the web design standards.

First you have to register imagine as a Packer plugin.

Add this to the [PackerPlugins] section in your windmc.ini:

gif=327,%COMMANDER_PATH%\PLUGINS\wlx\Imagine\Imagine.wcx

And this to your [PackerPlugins64] section:

exts=gif*

If you already have en exts line then add gif* to the line.

Restart TC, now if you have an animated gif file, you can press Ctrl+PgDn on the file and it will show all the images inside the gif file

I have already been considering applying for the ICC profile.
But I can't promise when it will be implemented, and it may not be implemented.
This is also related to the fact that I do not use an ICC profile.

Well, once you have registered it for gig files, Ctrl+PgDn on any image file supported by Imagine is opened as an archive, but so far I have unly seen multipel images in gif files.

I would have expected it to work with .ico files and multipage .tif files, where Imagine wlx shows the additional images, but it doesn't seem to work for these formats.

does jpg lossless supported?

Imagine has a tool in the it's menu under "Tools" -> "JPEG Lossless Transformation CTRL+Q" that can flip and rotate jpg images lossless.

I assume that it can be used with every image format which can contain multiple frames/images and/or can be animated. TIF is definitely one of them, maybe it works with APNG (animated PNG) and MNG (Multiple-Image Network Graphics). Since Imagine supports ANI (animated cursor), ICL (icon library) and ICO (icon) it will probably work there as well. I'm quite certain there are other formats. However, I don't know if Imagine will open any of these as an archive properly.
