Yes but you show the link to the screenshot after the first sentence, where you haven't yet pressed the RMB - and the screenshot already shows the context menu .AntonyD wrote: 2024-10-15, 10:43 UTCNo, of course. Let's read my steps again:Do you mean that the content menu pops up just because you move the cursor over a folder in the breadcrumb bar???
"After that I moved the mouse cursor to this panel and stopped there - where you will see it in the screenshot:

Just look at the tip of the mouse cursor - this is its ultimate goal.
And after that, I just called up the context menu. As usual, as always, as everyone does: by clicking the RMB."
Two actions - one after another. Don't you read it so? Picture is a result of these both.
But OK, the context meny pops up after you press RMB - the same here - what is the bug? That it is not the context menu for the folder clicked on in the breadcrumb bar?
As I understand it, your complaint is no longer about the error message "Cannot copy/move, since frie content of Yne directory was changed by another application!", so the setting for drag&drop is no longer relevant.AntonyD wrote: 2024-10-15, 10:43 UTC And regarding the full conditions for reproducing the problem.
Here you asked me to do everything on a clean INI file, but we forgot
that I described my problems in addition to those that the topiс starter had.
And he had the option turned off:
"Configuration" -> "Misc" -> "Get confirmation before" -> "Drag&Drop (copying files with mouse)"
(it is enabled by default in a fresh INI)
You complaint is about the context menu popping up during drag and drop - something that no one else has confirmed so far - Am I wrong in that assumption.
I can see from your video (I have place it her for convenience: https://tcmd.madsenworld.dk/2024_10_15_13_49_08_770.mp4 ) - that it happens for you, and you can see on my video https://tcmd.madsenworld.dk/dragtobreadcrumb.mp4 that it doesn't for me.
I would still like to know where in the process you press the RMB and where you release the LMB and then the RMB? I assume that you release LMB before RMB?
In your video I never see the mouse cursor change to the move cursor (with the red minus) - it looks more like you drag with the only the LMB pressed, all the way to the target, then release the LMB and then press the RMB. That will just copy (not move) the file and the the RMB of course opens the context menu because it i pressed AFTER you have released th LMB.
The right way to move a file with mouse only is: left-click on the file and hold the LMB pressed -> move the mouse a little until you see the mouse cursor change to the copy cursor with a plus sign -> Keep LMB pressed and press RMB -> the mouse cursor changes to the move cursor with a red minus sign -> with both buttons pressed move the cursor to the target (the mouse cursor should still show the red minus) -> Release the LMB and the moving of the file is instigated -> release the RMB. Is this how you do it?
