OK, since removing Windows 10 compatibility isn't really an option, I'm moving this to will not be changed.

Re: Contex Menu in TC Vs Win11
Hello,
I just updated MediaInfo to the latest version (25.03) and the contect menu disappeared in TC.
After I read this post, I re-installed the old version (24.11.1) and I got MediaInfo back in my context menu.
Hope it help people with the same issue.

Yes, the Context entry for MediaInfo is gone in TC with version 25.04, I reinstalled version 24.11.1 and the contect menu entry for Media Info came back in TotalCommander. This shows me that it is something missing in MediaInfo 25.04.
By the way, Explorer's MediaInfo context menu entry works with 25.04.
Only a Total Commander issue for me.

Re: Contex Menu in TC Vs Win11
Some apps move their context menu entries to the not expanded Explorer context menu. If they do it right, it will also show up in the expanded context menu. Some only show it in the not expanded menu and are therefore missing from the expanded one which Total Commander uses. I'm not aware of any way to get these missing entries.

Just try to communicate with Dev. of OpusFM. Who now seemed to have the same problem -
but they were able to solve it in a similar way to you, they now "build the context menu
ourselves rather than asking the shell to do it"

Re: Contex Menu in TC Vs Win11
I use the K-Lite Codec Pack Standard
which includes in the newest version MediaInfo 25.04.
This works fine in the classic context menu of TC

Re: Contex Menu in TC Vs Win11
The simple question is - HOW is an entry in the registry created that associates an application/module with a possible entry in the cont.menu.
In the original application that installs this library - this action is done somehow clearly differently than it was done in a third-party one
Installer like in K-Lite Codec Pack. So we get different behaviors.
