Nice Job!

- We didn't say it's a bug, but at least a lacuna somewhere, since the “look-commands” are getting inefficient with a XP-theme.So it's not a bug - in my Opinion.
AFAIK these are icons are set systemwide so I think there's no 'display in TC only-option'. These icons can be changed in Windows, too (with Microangelo or some other system icon tweaker), but then every App using the Standard win-Icons would show the TC-style-Icons...Why do system folders have different icons?

OK, I added a description to my initial post. I'll update the readme when I add the next few icons (which are slowly on their way...)
isn't the use of CONFIGURATION > CHANGE SETTINGS FILES DIRECTLY much quickeropen your WINCMD.INI (usually in TCs folder or the windows folder, 'help' -> 'about' shows where it is actually)
isn't the use of %COMMANDER_PATH% better1. to get the Drive Icons, insert the following:
drivelib=[your path to the icons]\vicons_2_10_drivelib.dll
2. for the icons for the file panels, add:
IconLib=[your path to the icons]\vicons_2_10_fileicons.icl
yup I did test it too, not a bug but it doesn't look 'flat'Sheepdog wrote:Apparently it depends on the XP style you use.
Well, the file 'vicons2_10_buttonbar.icl' contains only icons for TCs buttonbar. For the icons in the file panel, you have to use 'vicons_2_10_fileicons.icl', so the correct entry in your INI-file would be:After restart I suddenly had in the file panes some icon of two musical notes instead of the default
yellow 'map' icon for the directories.
Code: Select all
IconLib=C:\totalcmd\icons\vicons2_10_fileicons.icl
That's what I thought : 'only'. So why overruling the file panel setting if it's about tje buttonbar ?Well, the file 'vicons2_10_buttonbar.icl' contains only icons for TCs buttonbar.
These are two different things.So why overruling the file panel setting if it's about tje buttonbar ?
