TotalCommander since version 6.5 can be used as a fine viewer for DigiCam images.
On the left pane the preview image files are displayed in ThumbnailView, and on the right panel the actual image is displayed in QuickView.
And you can view marked image files in slideshow with Irfanview using :

menu1=IRFANVIEW SLIDESHOW
cmd1=C:\IrfanView\i_view32.exe
param1=/slideshow=%L
