TC 8.52a window is 1024x800 px on FullHD screen.
TC 9.0 b1 window is 1100x800 px on FullHD screen.
Such a strange size... Is that bug or feature?
IMHO, 1024x800 looks much better.

I made it a bit larger to handle extra space needed for vertical button bar and extra whitespace around icons.

What about leaving 1024x800 when verical bar is not in use? (i mean "ButtonBarVertical=0")
1100px size really confuses, I use main TC window to center another windows to 1024 px, and it's great feature for me.
AFAIK, there's "dx" and "dy" parameters, but I use TC on my flash drive anywhere (with "ResolutionSpecific=0", it's necessary for most cases), incl. some old PCs with VGA or SVGA monitors., so I can't use "dx" and "dy" with desired 1024x800.

I don't see WHY I should return? What's so bad about using some more screen space?

Perfectionist inside me uses 1024 and says it's perfect for TC. Even better than much older 800x600 dize. It is useful to place other windows, good reference point to understand other objects sizes in pixels, it made the strong habit. And now it seems to become broken.
That's why I ask you to leave 1024 ONLY when vertical bar is disabled. When bar is in use - I have no questions, you know better what to do. But when bar is hidden... It just brokes habits.
