?rubberband selection adds files sometimes

Post by *Samuel »

Steps not to reproduce:

1) use "long" as view mode in a folder with 20 files
2) start dragging behind the file #5 and drag down to file #10
3) result: every file from file #5 to file #10 is selected
4) start dragging behind the file #15 and drag down to file #20
5) result: every file from file #15 to file #20 is selected

Steps to reproduce:

1) use "long" as view mode in a folder with 20 files
2) start dragging behind the file #5 and drag down to file #10
3) result: every file from file #5 to file #10 is selected
4) start dragging below the file #20 and drag up to file #15
5) result: every file from file #5 to file #10 is still selected; every file from file #15 to file #20 is selected

Sorry, cannot reproduce. Are you sure you didn't press Ctrl while selecting the second range?

Really sure. Did you start the second drag from below the file list? Any one else can reproduce it?

Did you start the second drag from below the file list?
No, I started with file #20 by clicking behind file name #20 and then dragged up. Clicking below the file list makes the difference because only clicking on a line with a file removes the selection!
