Total Commander currently doesn't support Windows XP visual styles in some user interface elements:

  • Button Bar - No background is drawn, no visual state indicator is drawn.
(seems like implemented in TC 7.0)
  • Tree - The tree realised as listbox doesn't draw visual styles for expand/collaps button.
  • Progress Bar - No visual style is drawn for the progress bar. A solution needs to consider the numeric value in the middle of the progress bar.
(seems like implemented in TC 7.0)
  • File Panel Header - The old Windows 3.1 style is used.
  • Dialogs - Thema background should be considered for the configuration dialog.
(seems like implemented in TC 7.0)
  • Menu - Menus don't support XP styles.
(menu is self-drawn in TC 7.0)
