ListXP is a text/unicode viewer for Windows which is very DOS-textmode like (originally it was ported to Windows from DOS version). It's freeware and has open source code.
Features:
- Support for GB files
- Advanced search including regex support
- Advanced "Follow tail" feature
- Syntax coloring for some file types
Notes:
- It's outdated a little, last version is dated 2004.
- Its homepage has disappeared, at present it is only available through WebArchiveOrg: ListXP
