Starting Point

You attach your Pocket PC to your desktop machine.
MS ActiveSync has been installed and is functional.
Inside MS Explorer, you go to My Computer and you see a Mobile Device.
You can access your Pocket PC by double clicking on this Mobile Device.

Your Problem

Inside Total Commander, this Mobile Device does not show up.

Solution

On your PC you need a file system plugin named WINCE. It was written by Christian Ghisler.
You can get it here http://ghisler.fileburst.com/fsplugins/wincefs.zip.

Install it on your Desktop PC, not on your PPC.

Inside Total Commander, you will find your PPC in the drive dropdown list.
Select \ (Network Neighbourhood) and then WinCE Device.
