A web feed keeps you informed about updates to a website. This wiki and Total Commander's official forum offer several feeds.
Two commonly used web feed types are Atom and RSS. Both types are available.
Each feed has an associated URL that can be entered in a feed reader program. An example of a program that can be used to subscribe to web feeds is Mozilla Thunderbird.
There are two series of forum feeds available: the forum feeds built into the forum software and forum smartfeeds, an extension of the forum software.
Forum feeds
The built-in forum feeds offer fairly limited feeds. It also offers only Atom feeds, doesn't allow feeds of restricted forums and has no options to fine-tune a feed.

Forum smartfeeds
The Smartfeed extension offers Atom and RSS feeds and various options to fine-tune a feed.
The Smartfeed User Interface enables you to select the options and generate a URL for the feed.
Wiki feeds
To subscribe to a wiki feed, go to a wiki page containing a feed and use the toolbox link labeled "Atom" to subscribe to the feed. The wiki feeds are Atom feeds by default. To use RSS instead of Atom, replace "atom" with "rss" in the URLs of the Atom feeds. The following pages contain a feed:
- All history pages
- Special:RecentChanges
- Special:NewPages
- Special:Watchlist
- User contributions pages
