Include TC version in edit summary summary in edits about new releases

Since there are no official RSS/Atom feeds for Total Commander beta/release updates, the only official source to get info on Total Commander updates via Atom/RSS is a subscription to the feeds provided by the revision history of Template:Infobox Total Commander for Windows page of Total Commander Wiki:

So my suggestion is: when making an edit of this infobox about a new Total Commander version, in the "Summary" field of edit page include information about Total Commander version number which is released, similar to how it is done in this edit:

It's always better to be more specific in the edit summary, so that's a good idea.
Ghisler discourages version checking via web feeds because of high server load. The official way is to use the version checking in Total Commander or outside Total Commander as described here.
Unlike what you are saying, a subscription to a feed of the revision history of this page is not an official source to get informed of Total Commander version updates. The wiki may or may not get updated. The forum however does get updated, so that is actually a official channel. It is possible to use Mozilla Thunderbird to subscribe to a forum feed and create a filter or saved search to stay informed about new versions. -- White (talk) 15:39, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
