«How to reproduce it:

create an archive, that is handled by Total Commander (i.e zip), on your desktop;
bind internal Total Commander command cm_OpenDesktop to any hotkey;
press that hotkey, and you will find yourself browsing \\Desktop\;
press Ctrl+PgDn(by default) at that archive - nothing happens, while normally Total Commander should enter into archive like that was a folder;
press Enter at that archive - you will invoke default Windows action for that archive.

Or: delete an archive, that is handled by Total Commander (i.e zip), to recycle bin;
bind internal Total Commander command cm_OpenRecycled to any hotkey;
press that hotkey, and you will find yourself browsing \\Recycle bin\;
press Ctrl+PgDn(by default) at that archive - nothing happens, while normally Total Commander should enter into archive like that was a folder;
press Enter at that archive - you will see its properties (by default).»

Fixed in Total Commander 8.50 release candidate 1 (RC1):
17.01.14 Fixed: Couldn't open archives in virtual folders like the Desktop with Ctrl+PageDown (ENTER worked) (32/64)
