Oh, sorry, I misunderstood it. I did it on mine.
Create a text file in the LANGUAGE directory.
Try adding this to the file:Code: Select all
English 1074="F5 Refresh"
Save it and go to TC.
Configuration>Options>Language
select your file and click OK.
If I'm not mistaken, the labels for those buttons range from 1072 to 1078.
but if you change the button text and assign the desired function to this Fkey it should work.
This is all static then of course.
I don't really use those buttons. If you want buttons for these actions, you can always create buttons at the top or the vertical bar (I think it would make more sense in the vertical bar). Then you can have all the actions you want and just those. And assign the shortcuts you would like. I know, it's not a bottom bar, but I think you should really try to adapt to something new.
I've been down that road, tried other file managers, and had to adapt. Honestly, no file manager has ever replaced the feel I had with XTreeGold.

If it works the way it did for me and many others, it will pay off.
Good luck with your transition. If you need help, search this forum, post new questions... you know where to find us.
