This Option saves the current display settings (like brief, full or comment view) and paths, even if the automatic save on exit is disabled. The display Options Quickview and Treeview could not be saved.

In addition the current position (size of the window and the position of it's upper left corner) and the Tabstops (width of the columns for name, extension etc.) are saved, too.

All these settings are saved separately for different screen resolutions, what is useful if you switch sometimes between different resolutions.
